Need Help!! can't take my car out of park. Haven't had any other issues with my car other than this.

Also, noticed the words "gas cap" where my odometer is even though my gas cap in on.

My engine light is on as well. What could be the reason for this?

 

Chrysler used a super cheap pink piece of plastic.. you can youtube it or google it.. you can fix it yourself for sure. part was cheap. only about $29 +$10 shipping. Dealer will say you need an entire new gearshift.. $300+.. now need..
