2007 4.0 Delayed start
We have a 2007 Pacifica with 4.0. Bought it new so I know its repair history. For a couple years now it sporadically does not want to crank when hot and has been sitting for 10-20 minutes---engine just spins over several seconds until it finally cranks. Always cranks fine if you cut it off then crank right back up, or if it has been sitting a few hours. Out of desperation, put in a new fuel pump and filter last year as well as new plugs. Still no help. Recently, it has gotten to where it does it more frequently and today it was EVERY time we tried to crank it--regardless of it sitting overnight, 4 hours, or 15 minutes. When it does crank it seems to be running fine, not sluggish or belching smoke when it cranks. You have to spin it 5-10 seconds before it cranks up Any ideas?
