Were you successful in replacing the EGR valve? Has stalling ceased? I saw one video on YouTube that shows it not to be too terribly complicated.

my 2007 currently has 117k miles on it. Engine light has been on since I got it a year and a half ago. Did you ever replace your EGR Valve and if so, did it help?

EGR valve removed, thoroughly cleaned and replaced. No improvement on startup when the engine is cold but operates fine after warmup
