2007 Pacifica 4.0L
Greetings everyone,
I have this 2007 Pacifica 4.0L with 100K whit a fried engine, after a painful and long search I finally located a replacement engine two states over with 52K. I realize that replacing an engine is not for the faint of heart, and I know that because I done my own mechanics way I even owned my first car. So my only fear with this new cars is to remember how all the electronic wires goes back into their place... so now that the new replacement engine is sitting next to my car, I read somewhere that the engine on a pacifica will not go out straight up, and that instead I will have to dismantle the entire front nose of the car, so the engine comes out forward.
I am doing this work on my driveway, so I only be able to lift the car a few inches from the floor. After I read some other issues about swapping an engine on the Pacifica I decided to search for any publication that would provide some specific installation directions about an engine replacement with little luck, so I was wondering if anyone would have that information that would be willing to share or point me in the right direction about a publication I could get to help me through this fun project.
Any help you could provide me would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

I downloaded 2004-2008 chrysler pacifica service manual. The manual ended up being geared for the 3.5L. I had the 4.0L. The manual did have engine removal/install for 3.5L which looked very simular. Did you have any luck? I'm getting ready to replace my oil pump gasket. God help me...
