Default 4.0 engine/6-speed tranny

I presently have a 2005 Pac with a 3.5 engine/4-speed tranny which has been involved in an accident. We are waiting to hear from the insurance company as to whether they are going to total the car. I love the car except the transmission when traveling at slow speeds. I am looking at cars just in case they total it.

I have found some great deals involving Pacs with 4.0 engine/6-speed trannies. Posts on this forum have said no and yes to 6-speeds. What do the experts think.

You might want to look around at http://pacificaworld.com/forum/forum/ too. Lots of helpful info over there.
