Default Accessory Belt - HELP!!!

Alright so my A/C Clutch has gone out and the dealer wanted to charge me $1000 to do the job. I'm in the middle of doing it myself and I'm beginning to understand why they charge so much.

I'm stuck. I have the manual here and it tells me to use a wrench to adjust the belt tensioner to take the accessory belt off the car. I need to do this so I can take the A/C compressor off the car.

But when I get a wrench on there it just slips right off. There is not nearly enough to stick a wrench on to get it to move. So I call the dealership and talk to the service dept. The guy who answers the phone takes the time to ask one of his service guys how they do it. He comes back and tells me they use a special tool they get from the MAC Truck or the SnapOn Truck. But I'm thinking there has be a way for us do-it-youselfers to be able to get this on and off without buying a specialized tool that cost $30.

Please, can someone help me.

SOLVED - okay so I found out I can rent the tool from Auto Zone. Took no time at all once I got the tool. However the AC compressor was a pain to remove. And it turns out the replacement I had was the wrong part. So now I have to wait for the right one to come in on tuesday.

LOL....You don't want to pay them to do it, but you call them up and ask them how to do it. I'm cracking the hell up right now
