Default Anyone interested in getting more power out of their Pacifica?

Just joined the forum because I myself just bought an 06 awd Pacifica. Upon looking into posts and other forums I noticed that one of the main gripes is the lack of power in the Pacifica. I happen to work at a dealership that has the capability to bend and make our own exhausts and was wondering if I were to have them try and come up with an exhaust setup from the Cat back that would help give these things more umpph if anyone at all is interested. I will be using mine as the guinea pig as I do work here. The catch is that I will not get the go ahead to try this unless I get enough interested people that would potentially buy a setup if one can be developed so please post if you would be interested and if I get enough responses I can start having them get to work on it!

Well I guess with the lack of posts the answer is no. All I need to know if people would be interested in order to start experimenting with mine. If you would like more ummph just reply. I don't need commitments to purchase from you all just proof of interest.

Iggster still out there? I'd be interested, if I buy a Pac. I'd be more interested in a CAI, which can probably be fabricated from 3" exhaust pipe aluminum. How much room is there down there, looks sort of crowded on a hood-pop inspection. Any diff in the 3.5 or 3.8 intakes?

I am interested. I think we might need an intake also though. At least the K&N filter.

Also, we'd probably need a high flow cat. If you really want more power, you need more air through the entire system. I'd like to see dual exhaust tips like the Murano but that may not be easy. Too bad. 07 has that.

In fact, the 07 has the 4.0 liter engine, the 6 speed auto and the dual exhaust....maybe I'll spend my money on a trade-up....

remove the existing muffler under the passenger side , leaving the resonator in the back...nice sound and a bit more power...try and fab a cold air intake system...I simply took out the air box base and grilled 1 inch holes in it and used a K and N filter...mileage is up and it seems to have better throttle response.

Remove the muffler and leave the resonator in place...drill 1 inch holes in the air box base and replace the air filter with a KandN...nice sound, better mileage and good throttle response.
