Default Child Locks locking on their own

We have an 05 Touring Pacifica and we keep having our back door child locks engaging on their own, Has anyone else had any problems with this? Also, our son has said he hears a clinking sound right before it happens.
Thanks!

ahh i beleave that the child door lock is mechanical not electeral. its a little white tab on the inside of the door where the latch is at. Are u having an issue where the child can not open the door from the inside that is when the child door latch is on. Flip the lock the other way and he or she can open the door from the inside. From a power stand point u may be hearing the doors lock when u get over 25 mph thats normal and u can turn that off if u have a high line system in the insterment cluster.

Ahh I wish thats what it is, but I keep lifting the lever back to disengage the switch and it keeps engaging itself while driving! its driving me nuts! Also my son said that he hears it right when he goes to open the door, he said its when he actually has his hand on the handle he hears a clunk and then it wont open. Im about to call Chrylser and take itin to get looked at, its a small issue but enough to drive me nuts.I was wondering if this was a common problem with this car, I have had mine for a year now, and have strange little thingshappen, another thing is have you heard anyone complain aboutanyrough shifting? When going up a hill or even on flat ground it seemslike it gets stuck in a gear and I have to give it gas to get out of that gear to make the shuttering/roughness go away. I hate to go to Chrysler with a list,so I thought Iwould come to you folks! THANKS!!
