I gave my mom an after market mack-up camera for her 06 pacifica. are the pacificas automaticly wired to have a camera in them? If not where is the wiring harnes located and what is the best way to get a hot wire from the license plate to the reverse lights?

 

the back up lights and the license plate lights are drivers from the IPM if u add stuff onto them it u have a chance to nuke an IPM or front computer. if u have trailer tow that would be better to have a hot wire spliced off of.

 

so what is teh best way to get the wiring from the license plate area in the tailgate to the harnes for trailer lights?

 

I asked if u have trailer tow or not. that would be a better wire to splice off then a license light bulb.
