Default Driveing did a U Turn and it died

So I noic while going up a hill sometimes it would start to hesitate like it needed more gas once I gave him my gas it seemed like it kicked out of it then I was driving and had to do a u-turn in the middle of the u-turn it just stalled started right back up still very scary to drive since that stall I let it sit for about a week until I could get enough money to get it looked at at a mechanic when went to go start it it's been inspired and it hesitated on staying started haven't drove it since any idea before I go and put a lot of money into it what the problem can be and if it's a cheap fix cuz labor really costs a lot nowadays any information or help would be greatly appreciated thanks 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

There was a software issue with the 2005 and 2006 Pacs that was the root cause of stalling. My own 05 was affected, stalled just as you stated, but was permanently fixed by the software patch. More at: https://repairpal.com/recall/06V432000 .

Check the transmission oil level too. I had a lot of issues with the transmission only to find out that the transmission oil level was extremely low and the remaining fluid inside was dark brown. After changing it and refilling it, these problems went away. My 2 cents
