FIRST OIL CHANGE
I do the oil changes and I like to drop the original oil early as I believe in a new engine there are very small bits of metal floating in the oil from initial wear. The mileage is 971 miles and I was shocked at what came out of the crankcase.
This stuff was the blackest most foul smelling "oil" I have ever seen. When I rubbed a bit of it between my fingers it even felt gritty.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? What in the world do those Canadians put in these new cars?

that sounds about right.. i intend on changing mine as soon as it becomes discolored. goto to mototuneusa.com and scroll down to break-in secrets and you will find out why i am gonna change my oil alot earlier..this rumor has always floated around but this guy has pistons out on the table showing the effects of proper break-in(according to the vehicle manual) and his method of break-in
