First post ... power mods?
Hi all. I'm the new owner of a 2005 Pacifica Touring. I had a 2002 Jetta TDI Wagon that I loved, but I needed the 3rd row and, frankly, the TDI was worth too much and I sold it for way more than it should have gone for.
I'm quite happy with the Pacifica so far and was looking on eBay to try to find a cargo cover and I found all these chips that supposedly provide massive increases in power and MPG. I'm familiar with modifying the computer chip, and had done so in my Jetta to awesome results. The chips (some examples are here and here and here - the last being an air-circulating tuner) claim massive increases in power (believable) and MPG (22 MPG increase... not believable).
Does anyone have any experience with chipping a Pacifica for MPG and/or power? I'm going to miss the 50MPG I received with my TDI, but if I could even get the Pacifica above 30, I'd be psyched.
Thanks!

RE: First post ... power mods?
Diesel power upgrades are attained more easily than gas mods. Ditto on the K&N. Don't use the climate control on Auto and you will save a little more.
I have an 02 Jetta as well w/ the Van Aken box and love the near 50 mpg as well. I don;t think I'll ever get rid of that car the way Diesel prices are rising.. even if it means 3 cars... like we have. You are going to miss it.
