Default Fueling Problems

I have a 2005 Pacifica and had the 2 fuel pumps replaced two months ago. Went to go on vacation and it would only fill to 1/2 tank. It's in the shop now and they are telling me its the BCM. What the heck is a BCM (Body Control Module) and what does it have to do with the gas tanks.

Default two fuel pumps

Yes, I was in shock when they told me. If I had know I might have rethought my purchase.

If you look under the car, the gas tank is split in 2(Tank on each side of what would be the drive shaft). All frames were made to accomodate the all-wheel drive system. Even if yours does not have it, the frame is built that way, so yes, you need 2 fuel pumps.
