Default IDLE very rough when stopped

My 2004 Pacifica is acting crazy. When driving the car drives normal. Once I’m stopped for more than
2-3 min idle starts going up and down to the point where the car almost shuts off. Any ideas what this is ????

My Pac went thru this phase, then eventually outgrew it. Please keep us posted as to the root cause if yours does not cease and desist. First thing I would consider are spark plugs, fuel injectors and/or fuel filter. All these items are relatively cheap to R&R.

Check for a vacuum leak. 17 year-old hoses could very well have a crack somewhere.

10-4 on the vacuum leak possibility. A butane or acetylene torch will sniff things out pretty quickly. That cruise control vacuum line (RH side of engine bay (standing looking at car) , kind of under radiator inlet hose is a common vacuum issue.

a fuel filter will not cause this. the fuel pump is the same pressure and the same volume of fuel is being pumped at all times when the engine is running.
Plus the filter on this is integrated to the pump. not serviceable.

Check the code in the computer.
