Default Intermittent ESP/BAS lights

For the past couple of weeks the ESP/BAS lights come on in my wifes car after about 10 minutes of driving. They will reset after car has been turned off & restarted. Also noticed that the steering wheel is 10 degrees counter clockwise when the car drives straight, will pull to the right when I straighten the steering wheel. Any relationship to the steering wheel/tire alignment & the ESP/BAS lights?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

Absolutely..........

Why is the wheel off-centered..... A collision,? A Botched Alignment attempt?? severely worn steering components???

There is a sensor that measures steering angle....It is usually in the base of the steering column, or integral to the clockspring. If While the car is going straight, the angle sensor registers a left turn.

As your computer looks around and says ...A left turn???? but no body roll?? and no differential in wheel speeds from ABS? ...Something is wrong....and Until I figure out what it is...I will do NOTHING......

ABS , ESP, And BAS default , and the warning lamps come on....
