Default Large Wheel Tire - fit for 2007 Pacifica

2007 Pacifica 4.0 Signature

I have lowering springs (1.75" front and back) on order, and are trying to define the wheel/tire combination to add.

So far, I was set on 275/45x20, and 20x8.5 wheels with offset in the +35mm range.

Now read that an 8.5 wide wheel is at the very lowest end of recommend width for a 275/45 tire, and would make the tires look "stuffed".

For the selected wheel (ACE Executive), a 20x10.0 is also available (the recommended rim width range is 8.5-10.5 for the tire).

My concern: combined with the 1.75 in drop, is there enough clearance (front/back wheel well for wheel turning during steering, and fender lip for up/down suspension travel) for this combination?

Please report ALL sizes that have been put on the Pacifica and your experience.

Thanks.

Volker
