Default meltdown

pcm harness melted due to zero grounds after replacing it ...will the software need reflashing... throwing 6 codes that i believe are due to faulty PCM

flashing a PCM is updating teh software so if u want to rewrite the software that's already in there go ahead it wont do any good. and what codes and what year pac?

0627. 0688. 2068. 0517. 0533. 0073. All relays replaced and fuel pump as well

u replaced
the engine harness and why?

It runs and revs in all positions but stalls in drive but also if you feather pedal the gas you can get it going but after ten minutes of driving it it will start to act up and die then back to not starting but turns over fine then leave it for a week it starts surprise and duplicate the same thing ... I'm thinking the meltdown spiked enough to hit the PCM and scrambled it s software

The harness melted on the previous owner I have now replaced it and that's how the car is acting up in its current condition

ok then id put a PCM in it ones that's already got the software and plug and play

So you don't recommend re flashing just get a different one is that because the old one might not receive the software ...doesn't a new one have to be matched to my vin #??
