Default New front shocks ?

Thinking of having both fronts replaced with a complete kit assembly. So many names I have never heard of but still see Monroe, Gabriel. Any suggestions on a brand ? We will probably have both front lower control arms replaced first because of wear but maybe not at the same time as the shocks. Same thing on the arms with so many names too. Maybe its easier to do both parts on the same side at the same time ? Your experience ? Thanks. *BW*

Did my own 3 years back. Installed Dorman 521-595 & 521-596 Lower Control Arms, 74 bucks each. Not sure which struts were used. (these Dorman arms are performing much better than my other Dorman stuff )
With that said, if you are having knocking noises on the front end of your Pac, you may wish to consider changing out the sway bar bushings while you have everything tore apart. Those bushings are notorious for wearing out and are cheap insurance that everything will be nice and quiet when back on the road.
PS - inspect sway bar links carefully, replace only if clearly worn, as they are super easy to replace at any time without removing anything else.
