Default New member here, rebuilding a Pacifica

Hey, whats going on you guys, new member here and I have some questions for you, I'm glad I found this forum, looks like you got a nice place here, I'm usually at lincolnsonline.com, but I'm rebuilding a Pacifica and could use some help.

The car has been in an accident (apparently the driver hit a tree, since I found a bunch of tree bark in the bumper, and the damage is concetrated to one spot). The bumper reinforcement is trashed and needs to be replaced, but theres a sensor riveted to the back of the reinforcement, and I was just wondering what it was for, I'm guessing that it's for the air bags, but it might be for something else. I was wondering if this sensor is able to be re-used, and if anybody knows if a new reinforcement comes with a new sensor? Here's some pics:

The damage:

The good thing is, the only REAL damage is that this part of the frame got a little crumpled in:

Here's the reinforcement:

And here's the sensor that I'm asking about:

Thanks guys...

Maybe its the air temp sensor since it has fins??? Thought SRS stuff was mounted in engine compartment on frame type rails but who knows.

Yea, I have no idea, it doesn't show up anywhere on the dealer diagrams of "SRS Components" I guess I'll just have to wait until I put the thing back together and see if it throws any codes.

Btw, I ordered all my parts from www.moparpartsamerica.com they have really good prices, anybody have any experience buying stuff from them?

That is the Rad fan relay. It is a solid state relay.

Thanks a lot! I guess I don't have to worry about replacing that then...
