Default Oil light

I have a 2004 Pac and the oil light comes on when the has been warmed up for a while. When I'm driving it goes off but as soon as i stop and the car idle's it comes back on. There is plenty of oil in it so I'm not to sure what the problem could be. I changed the oil last night and it came on this morning. Please help!

Engine size????

Typically, the oil sender units can get gummed up and restricted, which will not allow him to "READ" all of the available pressure.

Many of our motors are prone to SLUDGE Buildup, A weak oil pump, restricted pick up screen, bearing wear,or any other host of issues can cause a light to act that way.

Replace the sender and go from there.....

The motor is a 3.5 V6. My wife took it to a jiffy lube before I got back from deployment and the light has been on ever since. What is the sending unit?

What is the sending unit?
That would be the Oil Pressure sensor that is responsible for operating your warning Lamp.

Thank you very much. I believe it's located right above the oil filter, right? I'll change that out asap and once again, thank you for your help.......
