We've got a 07 AWD Touring Pacifica..... just got it.

Last week we had the compass as one of the options on the EVIC feature.

Now it is gone. Tried having the factory setting optionon both off & on....... and I still can't get the compass back.

Any ideas?

 

So as you "Step" through it's gone? That is strange. Have you tried unhooking the battery and letting it sit for a minute or so kind of like a reboot, then connecting the battery back up?

 

The vehicle was at the dealers and I suspect that unhooking the battery may be why the Compas feature has "disappeared". The book yields no info and the repair DVD has no info either.

I will try the battery unhook just to se.

 

SURPRISE....The Compass is back. I unhooked the battery as suggested........ but I'm not really sure if that was the fix......... or the fact that I used the "Step" button versus the Menu button as Mrfixit so wisely suggested.
