Default P0344 and PO340 codes

Hello.

I'm trying to diagnose a 2007 Pacifica 4L 2WD.

The symptoms are very intermittent stalling and/or engine "lurching". It usually runs very well.

Everything I've researched on the P0344 and P0340 claim that the issue is almost always the camshaft position sensor, or the wiring. My question is, if the sensor or wiring is bad, then that's not going to cause the engine to occasionally stall or lurch...correct? The one other clue is that the electronic throttle light comes on intermittently as well. I would think that this would be the real clue to the engine troubles. Since the electronic throttle parts are basically all within the throttle body, I was thinking of just replacing the throttle body and seeing what happens.

What do you think?

if you had a throttle body issue there would also be codes for such. Cam or crank sensor yes or wiring yes or timing belt all possible issues
