Default P0480 and P0305 codes

Ok so here's my problem. Got the codes Friday after I overheated. Today I noticed that both fans were on but still kept getting the 0480 code. My next issue was when I overheated the 0305 popped. Any reason to why pcm detected a misfire in cylinder 5?

Actually I have. Melted a piston in my 02 neon. But that's a different story.besides that...doesn't answer my question

Also, I noticed my coolant tank was empty and I know there is coolant in there...could it be a possible leak?

Better check you oil make sure it is not milky, possible blown head gasket or crack.

If you refilled coolant tank, it's going somewhere, check for leakage, underneath for bad water pump, hose, even inside for leaking heater core, or if you didn't put enough in getting all of the air out of the system.

I am coming up on 200k. Might be the pump. When I drive it's fine. Its when I'm stopped for periods of time...

Ok so I just parked and my coolant tank started filling and started overfilling....is the water pump the bad guy for this?
