pacifica 2007 wind gut noise problem while driving
Hello everyone,
I recently bought a use 2007 Pacifica Touring package. Evething so far so good except for one minor problem. While driving at between 45 to 65 miles I 'm experiencing wind gust noise all though the windows all all closed tight, I tried to have find out where the noise came from but was not able to. I appreciate any helps.
The car had about 32K on it Also another problem is that when I start accellerate the car seem to be slip on the gear ( I don't know how to explain it but I can feel it ) , I'm not a machanic so i don't know if it normal orsomething wrong with thetransmission.
The car was taken to the dealer for 30K maintenance and I paid about $500.00 for it. Other then the problem described it seem to be ok so far.
Thanks
Ken.

There are so many possibilities for the wind noise. Your best bet is to take itto a reputable BODY SHOP, andtest drive with an advisor to show him/her the specific noise.
As far as the tranny slip, it could very well be the torque converter... many 07-08's have experienced this problem from what I've read. Good news is that it's covered by warranty.
You are probably experiencing torque converter shudder. I too have a 2007 Pac bought new and had this problem. It is covered by a Tech Service Bulletin TSB and fixed free. It, I think is interesting that the dealer will not volunteer this info, but they don't. The TSB is 2100207 from 7-2007.
