Default Park Sense Back-Up Warning System

Hi Folks,

Has anyone had any experience with the Park Sense back-up warning system? I just had one installed because I've backed into two cars with my Pacifica. My car is white and the sensors are round and black, four of them strategically placed on the back of the car. They kind of look silly so I asked the tech if I could paint them. He said "no". The ads for the system say they are paintable. Does anyone know if they can, in fact, be painted? Thanks.

Everything that I've seen says they are paintable. I have them on my dark blue pacifica, so there's not been a need for me to paint them. As long as the company states they are paintable, then I would think that you wouldn't be voiding your warranty, but I would perhaps check with another Chrysler dealer, or ask to talk to a manager just to be safe. Maybe show them one of the many websites that says they are paintable, such as this one: Park-Sense
