Exclamation Please enlighten me! 2006-2007 Pacificas

I recently purchased a 2007 pac touring (got it for a great deal btw)
only problem is the rear drive shaft, its missing. the transfer case and rear diff all check out but i need a drive shaft.

So now i have an eye on an 06 pacifica touring for real cheap, wrecker special... but all ive been reading says that the drive shaft will not work from one to the other. The 06 has the 3.5 with a 4 speed so i understand but is it a major difference behind the trasfer case? would a driveshaft from the 06 swap over to my 07?

A couple sites say that the front struts are a complete match, but the salvage yards say otherwise, and they say the same for the drive shaft...

Anyways im up in Canada and have been told by a couple people now that Canada has no scrapped 2007-2008s to pull of a rear driveshaft!
anyone know of any 2007-2008 awd pacificas in the northern michigan area?
I have a buddy whilling to pick up a driveshaft (if there is one) in michigan..

Thanks for any help!

If the 07 is missing the driveshaft, it is likely that the transfer case is bad and the previous owner removed the AWD system. It's very expensive to fix! In 07, Pacifica's had a new AWD system put in by Borg Warner, so 06 and 07 AWD parts will not be interchangeable.
