Default Please Help.. clicking noise coming from front drivers side tire

In 3 days I am driving from Florida to Boston. Needless to say I have to figure this out asap. Last week I bought a 2004 pacifica 78,000 miles. looked at 10 other used cars and for the $$ this seemed like the best car(mechanically). Yesterday I brought the car in to the local Chrysler dealer to have them inspect the car before the trip. They said I have an oil pan and tranny pan leak. I didn't see any fluids on the pans when I bought the car but that is not a big deal. while driving home I hit the traction control button. Didn't know what it was. I started to hear a faint click coming from under the hood. The manual said you would hear a click under 35mph so everything seemed ok. today I started to hear the click but the traction control was off. The click is getting louder and only does it when I quickly tap the gas, quickly let off the gas, switching gears while stopped(clicks more when I shift quickly), and sometimes a faint click when slowing down. Sounds like front drivers side. In the morning I am going to get under the car and check the hubs/bearrings. Seems like torque is causing the click. Any ideas of what I should look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

After reading up on the forum it sounds like it might be the rubber gasket between the cv joint and bearing. Seems like a hopefull place to start. Any other ideas or possibilities would be appreciated, Thanks

I tightened the hub nut up tighter. I read in a thread that it needed 165ft lbs and I just snugged up like most other cotter pin nuts. The noise is now gone. Thanks for all the advise and help from everyone.
