Default Problems with Power Seat!!

Everytime I disarm my alarm on my 04 pac the driver seat always moves to the front , I need to press the memory button for it to go back to normal position .

Is there a way to fix this issue, because I'm afraid it will damage either the motor or the seat itself ?

Is this a new problem.. Did it work fine for 4 years then happen now? Do you have 2 drivers where you use the memory positions? Have you checked to see if the key is "mapped" to that position, maybe it is set to the other positions. i.e if my wife drives the car, then I get my key and drive the car, it moves to my position when I unlock the car because I have set the key to memory #2.

Your key has either memory 1 seat or 2 programmed. Its pretty easy to program, just read some posts here about it.
If you have 2 keys you can program your wifes to one and yours to the other. if not dont hit the unlock button twice, just once and your seat wont move.
