Default Radio Removal?

How do you remove the Trim in order to remove the radio? I know the trim around the ignition key comes off, but I can't seem to get the side panels off. Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The panels on both sides of the radio just pull off. No screws to worry about. A plastic trim stick works the best as it reduces the possiable damage to zero. You can use a small screw driver if you are careful.

Thanks a bunch. I figured it out and was able to get it off just fine.

One more question ( Is there an aftermarket harness for premium radios for our car?) My Pac has 2 harnesses. I take it one if for the radio and the smaller one is for the factory amp. The wiring harness I got, only has one connector and none for the 2nd harness. I get no sound, so I obviously don't have the right harness.

Thanks,

Where is the best place to place the screwdriver to minimize the damage?

Take a flat head screwdriver and put some electrical tape on the tip. I inserted it by in the upper right most corner next to glove box. It popped up with ease. For the driver side, I took the panel out from under the steering wheel. That provided easy access to pop the panel on the drivers side with ease.

***Both panels will come off from the top and stay inserted at the bottom. To take them out, simply pull up. Don't worry, you shouldn't break them by pull up. Just a few firm tugs and the come right out.
