I feel like such an idiot. I had to replace one of the rear seat belts in my wife's Pacifica and after buying the part from the dealership, I can't figure how I get the belt to un-wind. It will allow me to pull about half inch and it stops. I went to the dealer and parts counter was no help and they just re-ordered me a new part and the same thing is happening with the new part. What am I missing. I have tried to shake it and un-wind it from different angles and everything else I can think of. Please help.

 

need to install it first bolt it up then it will come out there is a gravity ball stopping it
