Default Sirius Install with 07 MAST antenna

I will be doing a MOD on my 06 Pacifica that I've not seen done yet. I will be adding a 2007type sirius/MAST antenna. This is the new antenna you are seeing on all the 2007 chrysler models. Wish me luck, and hopefully I will get better reception instead of the window antenna. I'll let you know how it goes.

The 07 antenna has the siruis SAT antenna and radio antenna in one. I will be disconnecting the integrated glass antenna and running new wire for that. I have all the correct parts now. I hope it's not a waste of time. Thanks

Install went great, it took me about 4 hours to complete. Hardest part was taking off all the panels to run the wires.

Does Haynes make a manual for the Pacifica, are there any service manuals out there for maintenance and for instructions on how to remove dash panels without damaging components? I want to set up my sirus as cleanly as possible, but i'm feeling a little shy since i don't even know where the clips on the plastic covers are set up.

I purchased a panel tool from crutchfield.com, this helped me pull the panels off easier. I would invest in purchasing the service manuals also. You can get it on CD-rom cheaper, either from chrysler.com, or E-bay. Good, luck and let me know if you have anymore questions in regards to the sirius install.

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I recently bought a 2006 Base
Pacifica. What kind of Sirius radio do you have? I have a Sportster 4 and I'm searching for installation ideas and options for better reception. The fm transmitter is terrible with this vehicle. Thanks,

Tyr

afmedic911,

What part number was the gps/combo antenna?
I bought the kit for my 2007 Pac (82209764AD) and it came with a seperate gps ant and requires drilling.
Will the combo ant. work with any Pac Sirius radio?
Thanks for your help.
