Swap 3.5 in pacifica awd to 3.8

Swap 3.5 in pacifica awd to 3.8

I have a 2006 pacifica touring awd. It came factory with the 3.5 egg. My question is, can the 3.5 egg be swapped out for a chain driven 3.8 egh? Is bhp a concearn?
