Default Swapping old 3.5l to new 3.5l...can I keep original ecm?

I threw the #2 rod bearing yesterday after I swapped it out with a new bearing, well I replaced all of them actually. I used standard size on all of them but the one that was extremely loose. So I replaced that one with a .50mm undersized bearing. I started the car and let it idle for about 30 minutes, and everything sounded perfect. So I drove it to the gas station, got gas, then left and got on the highway, I started off very slow, and gradually gained speed. And once I hit 50mph the bearing spun. Anyways I found an engine for $300 from a shop, and my question is

Will I have to replace the ecm if I replace the engine with a 3.5l from a 2005 pacifica awd? Mine is a 2006 limited awd with a 3.5L
