Tech Help! Looking to buy 2006 PAC
I have been watching a 2006 Pacifica at a local dealership for a while.
According to Carfax, it was titled May 2006 and has 5400 miles and the dealer is asking $16.5K, so I believe it may be a really good deal.
It is an LX with leather and heat, no 3rd row seats, and no extras which I don't need.
However, I want to know if I can replace the stock LX Instrument cluster with a upgrade with more gages. I can pick one up on eBay for about $50. Is the harness in the LX equipped to handle the Touring cluster?
Also, Can the clock, trip computer section be added? I found one of these on eBay also.
I am a retired GM auto tech and am able to perform the swap with no problem, but don't have the schematics and thought you would be able to help.
If not, I still think the Pac is a good deal with warranty and such.
