Well I got the magnet in. I can train all the sensors except the left front. Is there only one type of sensor? I figured I would just buy the sensor and take it to a tire shop to change it.

Fixed it. The sensor was slowly dying. It would work for a while then quit. You can figure out which one isn't working by training the sensors. However this must be done when the "Service Tire System Soon" message is off. When the message went away I went through the process of training the sensors. The first one it asks for is the Left Front, guess what, that was the one that wasn't working. So to verify the left front was the one I ran around and trained the other three, out of sequence of course.

I took the tire to a tire shop and they removed the sensor and reinstalled the new one, $10. The sensor was $70, ouch! $80 was alot cheaper than the $145-165 quoted by the dealer.

Anyway its fixed, now time to sell, gotta have a new toy!

Default Tire Pressure Monitoring system

My pacifica says 2 tire low pressure and the service tire system soon. I don't want to waste money on replacing the sensors when they are damaged, and then when the battery on them dies. Is there a way to just want to remove a fuse or something so it doesn't display the TMS anymore.

Is this possible?

Default tire pressure senser

tire pressure sensors normally has a Li-ion battery with 5-7 years life.
it doesn't go with the tire, its mounted on the rim.
so, just buy 4 of them and have the tire installer install them when you charge tire.
