i got an 04 chy pacifica it wont go any faster then 70km/h max. when i try my code reader i get a p0700. last time i took it out it only got to 35km/h max. it will not rev more then 3500rpm i have ran it up on a hoist and when do i hear a loud clunk and knock from the front transfer case/ front diff it sounds like a bunch of bolts or gears in there just being thrown everywhere. i have thought it was a plugged cat i took off the pre-cat o2 of with no such luck it will run fine some times on the hoist with no load on the tires. i have yet to take apart the front diff in worry to have it stuck on the hoist for good and cant make it move able. any ideas out there. some days it drives better then others. i can have my foot to the floor but have no power and only stay at 1500rpm, and at that rev it sounds like the whole thing is ready to blow up. any ideas out there

 

You have an internal trans issue..probably major. The car is in limp-in mode. Stop trying to drive it or you will kill the engine too.

 

i know its in limp mode any ideas what it could be?
