Turning Noises
I have an issue I'm afraid to continue ignoring. It's with my 2007 Pacifica - aprrox. 114000 miles. My noise has been happening more noticeably recently when turning while nearly stopped, like when navigating through a 3-point turn. It sounds like I can hear gears mildly grinding against each other. Grinding is perhaps the wrong word. It basically just sounds like gears rotating against one another, but without enough lubrication to keep it quiet.
But then, also, I've been hearing what I call a "ping" but could be also a popping, when turning, particularly if I've quickly decelerated prior to the turn. Just one quick one. No loss of control, no loss of turn, just a ping and we keep rolling.
I have recently replaced front brakes, struts, all 3 motor mounts, and tie rods. Ball joints are leaking mildly but in fair condition. Control arms look pretty serviceable also. There's a fair amount of underbody road noise in general (that was the impetus for much of the suspension work in the first place, but the noises continue!)[from what I gather reading the forum, that is par for the course with these vehicles]
I'm thinking it's the CV axle(s) itself/themselves. But, I'd also love to hear that I just need to add some gear oil of some kind somewhere and the thing will keep going no problem. Hoping to get some education and clarity from the group

You have pretty much hit all the bases by changing out front struts, all three engine mounts and tie rods (I assume you changed out inner and outer). Keep in mind those lower control arms w/ integral lower ball joint, they are reasonably cheap and they are reasonably simple to swap out (hint use a BIG pry bar and 2 people to install most easily).
And keep an eye on those outer tie rods as the Pac miles pile up. I had one outer tie rod snap at about 280k and then the other side outer tie rod snap one year later at about 320k. Guess it was my fault, the ball connections were heavily worn, rods snapped at a machined stress riser, located toward the ball end and part of the rod (poor) design.

We've been very happy with our 2021 Pacifica Touring L w 18" wheels. However at 44,000 miles it has developed a creaking noise when moving and turning slowly. Can also duplicate this noise a little when pressing left front down. Dealer diagnosed with needing new stutts and bearings at $2600.
Already out of warranty due mileage, and time out in April. Dissappointed but seems a common problem with this Chrysler body.
