Default vehicle not in park????

Hi everyone, so I have an 04 Chrysler Pacifica AWD. This problem happened after sitting in a parking lot waiting on someone all of a sudden my battery light came on and then it said memory disabled, so I hurried and shut it off , would not start after that, no clicking nothing. Come to find out I found a ground cable going from the negative terminal to engine block had broke so there was no ground . Replaced that wire and starts beautifully now. But now every time I start my pacifica it pops up on the display that the memory is disabled. ? How do I reset this? And it also says vehivle not in park but it has never not started because of it like others I have read about.I had auto zone scan the check engine light and all that comes up is a emissions leak and a neutral park sensor or something so I bought the part but cant figure out where it goes. Is it in the shifter area? And how do I fix the memory disabled thing?

exactly what part did u get? because the part switch is built into the transmission range sensor which is in the valve body assembly.

It is the part that goes on the transmission, I believe it is called the neutral park sensor.
