Default warranty notice

2008 Pacifica 4.0 with 153,000 First, did anyone receive notice or know about the 5 year inspection that was to be done to the car to keep the limited lifetime warranty in place? Three dealers said it was Chrysler's duty to notify the owner and Chrysler says it was the dealer's responsibility. Second, the car failed, would not go forward but would go in reverse. Chrysler techs said change the torque converter. Did not solve the problem, then went ahead and changed the valve body and the car performs again. Anyone else have this happen to them?
