won't go over 40 mph
So we have had some issues with our 2006 Pacifica, and I am trying to knock them out 1 by 1. I just replaced the fuel pumps and the crossover evap line across the top of the tank. The boss on the right pump was definitely severed from the shrinking evap line (have heard of this issue online). Got it back together, went for a test drive. Stumbled really badly on initial acceleration, and would not go over 40 mph. to even get to 40 mph, sounded like the engine was sluggish and very labored. There are no codes, however the test drive was short, as I couldn't continue to drive it like that. Before the test drive, it was allowed to idle for about half an hour to relearn. battery was disconnected during pump replacement
anyone have any ideas?
we have had 2 different evap codes for awhile -- small leak, and the one about the gas cap on the dash readout

About time to revisit this...... I am not sure of my fuel pressure at the rails, however, I will note, it did the exact same thing before the pumps were replaced.... As it just sits in the backyard now, I tried to move it the other day.... It wont rev past 3k... at all... at it feels like it hits a rev limiter at 1500 rpm, then if I stomp it, will get to 3k, and feel like it is bouncing off a rev limiter.....
We really want to get this fixed, but their is only so much we can do budget wise
I don't have a fuel pressure gauge
I haven't tried to road drive it, as it is really far out on it's tags
