Default Worn driver side tire

I have had quite a few issues with my pacifica and I think they are all related, though I will start with my front driver side tire. I have broken it down below to save time and typing .

Issue: Worn tire, only on the inside; have gone through 2 tires, same side in one month. Worn to the wire.

What I have been told: alignment issue is the first or "something else"

What I think and have noticed: yes, alignment, but have read about shocks possibly doing this, car prior to the tire issue JERKS to the left when switching out of first gear, have been told that this is bad motor mounts possibly tranny mounts.

Any takers? I dont want to get the alignment first if its something that will only banaid the problem for 3 months. I know the mounts are bad, though could this be an extension of mounts, a part sticking out that rubs only the front side tire out that bad?
