Can you please tell me what this hose is for?

 

I have the same question! I replaced the thermostat, and broke off the end directly above the thermostat. No luck trying to figure out where to get a replacement. I think it is something to do with the fuel line, but I am a low tech redneck! Any help would be greatly appreciated 😎
