Just want to know if this is common, when my car is idling it is sitting at approx 1500>2000 RPM, I have been told that it is a sensor on the power steering rack, but I thought it was the air flow meter ?

Can anyine shed any light on this.

 

ummm no do u have an codes for this in the pcm?? there is a sensor called the power steering pressure switch. on the rack.

 

if no vacuum leaks then it will most likely be the iac valve
