2004 HO Turbo - Stalls Once In Gear, Then OK
Hello,
New to the forums.
I have a 2004 PT Dream Cruiser 3 HO Turbo - Auto Trans.
60,000 miles
Plugs, wires, coil have all been changed recently. (Normal Upkeep)
Lately it stalls when I put it in gear the first time. Then I start it up again and it idles rough, but I give it gas and it will clear up and run perfectly. Drive it to work without any problems, plently of power.
Then when I start it up to leave work, it stalls again (Once). Then idles rough and clears up to drive home.
My wife also has a 2004 PT HO Turbo and hers does a similar rough idle, but doesn't stall.
No check engine light.
Any suggestions?
Let me know.

A couple of things....
Were the plugs and wires soaked in oil when you took them out???? Leaking tube seals can wreak HAVOC with Initial Start driveability issues......
Any Exhaust SMOKE on start up????
And Finally...which may be a bit tough...HAve a Fuel pressure decay test done...A leaking injector or 2, (Or 4 for that matter) can flood the cylinders while the car sits parked, Requiring a "Clear-Out" period just as you described on Initial Start.
