2006 PT 2.4l No turbo auto
The first problem I noticed was the obdII scanner would not communicate so I trested the termonals ans had power at hot alltime but not with ignotion on
I verified gound and checked scanner with another vehicle and it works. Next ths instrument panel (all gauges) would come on for 2 seconds then stop working (speedo and tach} I did key test hold trip button ans they passed. Next "no bus" came up where odometer is. If I turned off amd on it reaperars after 5 seconds. I have read that it could possibly be the BCM or ECM
I have removed and cleaned all grounds and checked harnes for broken or frayed wires. I have exhausted my checklist to determine problem can anyone help. Car will start and drive .Even a shift??? No fail safe. Alternator is charging 14-14.2v . I am lost on this CAN system my 2003 was a bit less complicated. Any help would ne greatly apreciatws appreciated.
