2007 PT (Lemon) Cruiser - 35K miles
I inherited a 2007 PT Cruiser from my father. The vehicle sat in my garage for two years with roughly 35K miles. I drove the vehicle this past summer and noticed the (clutch) gears would randomly shift hard as well as constant low oil light. I let is sit for the winter and now have taken it to the mechanic to learn that it has a bad engine valve and the clutch will not disengage. The cost $2100.00
My question is... How would you go about pursuing Chrysler about this vehicle obviously being a lemon. Can anyone offer some ideas for a possible cash reimbursement? Any ides would be helpful.
Thanks

As a consumer how would you handle it? What phone calls would you make for a vehicle with less than 40k miles? It may not be considered a lemon by law, but it's obviously not been driven enough to have these types of issues.
First Take to to a different shop AKA dealer let them look at it and see if they come up with the same game plan for fixing it. Im gonna go for needing like a transmission service filter and selnoid pack but thats just with out looking at it.
