So I have a 2001 pt limited with the stock 205-55-16s. I happen to have a lot of 225-60-16s and 215-65-16s. Does anyone know what tires will fit other than the stock 205-55-16s. I know the rear wheels have more clearance than the front. The front strut towers are close to the tire so I don't know where that falls into place. I'd hate to mount tires just to take them off and put the stock ones back on. I can't find a tire guide that shows what will work. Here is a pic of the rims that are on my car if that helps. I cant find the wheel offset measurement. So I just want to know if the bigger wheels will fit and not rub. I am 99 percent sure the rear will be fine and yes I know my speedo will be off a little with the different size tires. Thanks.

 

Yes they will fit. Now I run 205/60/16 on front with no issues except better ride than my 205x50x17 they were a bit harsh for me.
