Hey guys I really need help figuring out what's going on with my 2004 OT cruiser. About 2 weeks ago I noticed in the mornings if I didn't let my car warm up long enough when I would put it in drive and I would press the gas to go it would only rev the engine , but if I let the car warm up It didn't do it. however yesterday I let the car warm up for 5 minutes put it in drive it drove for about 8 seconds before it lost momentum and when I press the gas the engine simply just revs. I had to turn the car off and restart it but it kept doing the same thing. I really need help in what this could be I'm a single mom with two kids who have COVID right now this is not the time to be carless, please any help would be a lifesaver.

 

Sounds like low transmission fluid
