Default power steering

my 2001 pt steering is hard to steer. 130,000 miles on it. any ideas?

Could be several things. Check the fluid level and the tire pressure level. Check the drive belt tension. Those are cheap and easy to check.
Could be ball joints need attention, either lube or replace.
Might be a weak pump or internal leak in the system. That requires some professional diagnosis with a pressure test.

bad news from the dealer 2500.00 to fix the powersteering.

OW!! Might want to check around to see if you can get it done cheaper elsewhere.

the dealer said they would give my $500.00 for a trade in Hahaha. the car is clean. 131000 miles on it. they also said the lines are leaking but my fluid level is fine.
