Default PT dies

A co-worker has 2003 PT with manual trans. When they come to a stop it will die and also when slowing down to make a turn. It doesn't do it when the A/C is on. It does it when the clutch is pushed in. What is going on here?
Thanks for any help
Jerry

The throttle body is probably filthy. IAC motor may be slow to move also. WHen the AC is on, you will get a larger pulse with from the PCM to the IAC in order to idle up the RPMs due to the drag from AC on the engine.
